Spaceboy & The Supercognate is a prophetic statement about painting at the dawn of posthumanism. Justin Bower and Grant Vetter give a critical diagnosis of the neo-avant-garde’s failure to develop a critique of the man-machine synthesis that may lead to redefining the human condition.

International movie star, model, and the face of several world-renowned fashion icons, Bella Campen is known throughout the WORLD for her movies, her work with FENDI, VOGUE and Harper’s Bazaar, and also happens to own one of the most prestigious art collections in the world. Dec. 2-7, 2025

In the tradition of artistic collaborations like Basquiat and Warhol, Murakami and Abloh, and Hirst and McQueen, the collaborative works of Bower and Retina fuse language and code, pictogram and portraiture, and ancient and modern Iconography in a stunning suite of collaborative works.

Thrilled to see my work on season two of Landman on Paramount+ It's an honor to have my painting share screen time with Billy Bob Thorton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliot, Andy Garcia, and so many other incredible actors. Congrats to the cast and crew for getting picked up for a third season and for being the #1 show.

I didn't even know Axl Rose had picked up one of my pieces until I saw his name on the check at the gallery. From that moment he would go on to collect my works in depth, which felt like having a childhood hero as a personal benefactor. A 20th century Icon who just keeps on rockin. He currently owns 6 pieces.

Maddox Gallery is thrilled to welcome American artist Justin Bower to London for Do Androids Dream?, an exhibition of his electrifying artworks at Maddox Gallery, beginning 6th April. Dazzling and disorienting interrogations of the human condition, the artist’s hallucinatory foreshadowing of what's to come.

I am honored to have had my first solo show with the famed gallerist Patrick Painter INC. I join the ranks of notable artists as Glenn Brown, Mike Kelley, Paul McCarthy, Georg Baselitz, Albert Oehlen and the estate of Bas Jan Ader.

The explosive abstract portraiture of L.A. based artist Justin Bower is currently featured in a new exhibition at MOAH (Lancaster Museum of Art and History), "Thresholds". Like a glitchy mirror image of ourselves, glued to our computers and mobile devices, the giant, anonymous faces destabilize the human subject.
